Saree has been the traditional dress of Indian women, but over the past years it has received greater acceptance even by modern girls. The number of ladies who wear sarees has increased tremendously. You can come across ladies of all age groups wearing sarees at places, in parties and on festivals. It is due to the efforts of Indian designers who have increased the charm for this attire. Earlier girls avoided wearing sarees as they found it difficult to drape and carry them. These days pre-draped (ready-to-wear) sarees are also available in the market. The designers have even devised quick and easy ways to wear a Designer Saree. Earlier, the draping style just depended on regions. A saree is draped differently in Maharashtra or Kerala. Each state has a unique characteristic style of adorning a sari. Nowadays, it is not just the region but also the occasion that decides the style of draping it. Same is draped differently for work and party. A different draping style and different accessories can create different looks from a single saree.
