A Garment Ubiquitous To The Indian Woman, The Saree Has Carved A Niche For Itself In The Online Markets

A saree is that garment that defines the beauty of an Indian woman. No woman can ever look unattractive when adorned by a saree. The saree is associated with grace and is widely regarded as a symbol of Indian culture. In the history of Indian clothing, the saree is traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization, which flourished during 2800–1800 BC around the western part of the Indian subcontinent. The earliest known depiction of the saree in the Indian subcontinent is the statue of an Indus Valley priest wearing a drape. Earlier, women used to make an escapade out of saree shopping.
